The intern may remain on the internship for up to 24 months, except in the case of an intern with a disability (art. 11 of Law No. 11,788, of 2008).

The intern can carry out internship activities for up to 30 hours a week and 06 hours a day.

Yes. The internship contract can be terminated before the expiration date without any penalty or charge for the company granting the internship.

The internship does not create an employment relationship of any kind, so the company does not have any labor, social or social security burden when hiring an intern (articles 3 and 15 of Law No. 11,788/2008).

When hiring an intern, the company only pays the intern a stipend and transportation allowance (art. 12 of Law No. 11,788/2008). In addition to paid recess (30 days) after 12 months of internship or proportional to the internship period, the amount paid corresponds to the grant (art. 13 of Law No. 11,788/2008).

Scholarship allowance is the remuneration paid by the granting company to the intern in consideration for the internship services.

The value of the grant is agreed by the company, as well as the transportation allowance.

The transport allowance is a cash allowance for the intern to travel to carry out the internship activities, this amount is agreed by the company.

The internship does not create an employment relationship, so when the intern becomes pregnant during the internship, she does not have stability. The company can keep it on stage during the gestation period, at the end of the contract, there will be no fines for the company.

It is an insurance policy issued to the hired intern, the cost of this insurance is on behalf of the Alesco Institute. Life insurance is a requirement of the internship law.

Life and personal accident insurance, which is mandatory, only covers death and permanent disability due to accidents. In the case of minor accidents, whose removal will be temporary, the intern will be removed, but the company does not have any financial or stability obligation with the intern.

Students at least 16 years of age, duly enrolled and attending regular high school, professional high school (technical course) or higher education, as well as students in the final years of elementary school and in professional modality of youth and adult education (EJA) (art. 1 of Law No. 11,788/2008).

Identify and capture internship opportunities at the granting companies, adjust the conditions for carrying out the internship, register students, carry out administrative follow-up of the contract, as well as pedagogical (school attendance) of the student, take out insurance against personal accidents to interns, provide full support to the partner company and the intern throughout the internship period.

In order for the company to comply with what the internship law determines, some precautions must be followed:

1 - Allow the start of the internship only after signing the T.C.E - Term of Internship Commitment by all parties, that is: company, student, educational institution and the integration agent - Instituto Alesco.

2 - Offer facilities that are able to provide the student with social, professional and cultural learning that does not pose a risk, that is not unhealthy or immoral.

3- Always maintain compatibility between the activities developed in the internship and those provided for in the term of commitment, as well as compliance with the internship journey, not allowing overtime.

4 - Appoint an employee from the staff, with professional experience in the area of internship activities, to supervise and guide up to 10 interns simultaneously. The person responsible for the company can also be the internship supervisor.

5- Send Instituto Alesco all documents sent to the company or to the intern within a period of up to 05 working days after receipt, as well as keeping Instituto Alesco informed about the intern's development.

6- Keep at the disposal of the inspection documents that prove the internship relationship (T.C.E duly signed, registration statement and receipts of the aux. scholarship and aux. transport).
